Gli Āsana sono le posture Yoga, posizioni del corpo che lo rafforzano, ne migliorano l’equilibrio e l’elasticità. Per molti gli asana sono il punto di partenza per conoscere lo Yoga e poi approfondirne la pratica con Prāṇāyāma e Meditazione.
Costituiscono il terzo passo dello Yoga secondo Patañjali.
